I work for Business in the Community, a national charity, and one of my colleagues is looking for a trainer to provide a 45 minute, pro bono session for a group of our "Business Connectors". This would be a great opportunity to showcase your skills or try out a new approach. Details below. Thanks in advance!

On Thursday, 22nd October, Business in the Community is hosting Connectors Together, an annual knowledge sharing and networking event bringing together Business Connectors from across the country. Around 40 large organisations in both the private and public sector are expected to attend the day-long event, held at Coin Street Conference Centre near Waterloo in Central London.

To see how the Business Connector programme – which had been supported by Prime Minister David Cameron – works to instigate long lasting culture change in local communities.

Business Connectors spend their days talking to community organisations and businesses, listening to their needs, solving challenges by making connections. Problem solving and thinking of fresh solutions sits at the heart of this role. Connectors would benefit from developing tactics and techniques to help them with this.

If you would like to lead a post-lunch session – running from 1.20pm until 2.00pm – on a pro bono basis with a focus on creativity and innovative problem solving, please contact James Martin on +44 (0)20 7566 6632/ [email protected].

Thanks for your responses. Richard - just to clarify, I'm after someone who can delivery this pro bono (as in free!) rather than De Bono.

Emma, thanks very much for your kind offer. This particular team do run regular training, so it would be fantastic if you could have a chat with them. I'll contact you about setting up a conversation.

I am a De Bono practitioner, both LT and 6TH. I have recently ran similar events for one of the big 4 Financial Service houses and would be interested in this opportunity Please give me a call to discuss 07557440111.

Hi Liz,

This sounds great but unfortunately I am already booked on that date. I would be very happy to run a pro bono session at future events though so perhaps we can have a conversation about topics and areas you would like help with.
Hope it goes well.
