Hi

I need an activity for demonstrating resilience (what it is and how being resilient, or not, impacts us).

whilst there is a great exercise on this website I may not have the space to run the bouncing ball activity. Does anyone have an activity that is good for demonstrating resilience, which can be used in a room where space is limited?

Thanks
Fiona

Hi Fiona, I use a product called images of resilience - They produce some really rich discussion. You can find them here: http://rsvpdesign.co.uk/shop/images-of-resilience%C2%99-p-88.html

Hi Fiona - since it was me that wrote the Bouncing Ball exercise, which I use all the time in my own resilience training in various sizes of training space, I thought I'd let you know that you can still use it even if you don't have much room.

I use the sort of small bouncy balls that you can buy in bags of 4 or so in the childrens party bag gifts section of any supermarket, and they are small enough that they can be used in a small area if necessary. As long as there is room for people to stand up, then they can do the activity. In fact, they can just bounce the balls on the table if need be. The more the balls fly all over the place the better in terms of energy levels, fun, and also learning points.

Hope this is helpful
