I am a Registered Nurse who has since 1993 been involved in Quality Improvement, Clinical Audit, Clinical Governance, Patient Safety investigations and Complaints management. Since 2012 I have worked as a trainer and consultant on topics such as leadership, team building, complaints management, investigation skills, chairing meetings, enhancing patient experience and enhancing customer experience.
I have worked to high levels in the public and private sectors as part of a team and individually.
Expertise
I have expertise and experience in continuous quality improvement, audit, investigation skills . I have experience in managing teams, coaching and mentoring. I have 16 years experience of investigating patient safety and other incidents in addition to managing complaints to reach resolution.
It has often been said that I am able to take complex topics and make them understandable for those being trained. I provide interactive and facilitated training working on the premise that people learn more when they are having fun.
One of my strengths is being able to see the individuals in a team and working with each of their strengths to engage and achieve the desired outcomes.
