About
This isn't a training module as such, but an additional resource that can be used to support practical simulation exercises where the trainer or other participants fulfil the role of observer. The Observer's Feedback Sheet contains a list of positive indicators in the left hand column and some less positive indicators in the central column. Observers simply tick the boxes for the behaviours they observe and jot down examples, making effective feedback easy and powerful.

About
This performance appraisal toolkit has been developed by Glasstap and covers objective setting, behaviour/skills analysis and training and development planning. It offers invaluable assistance to managers and other staff, helping them undertake successful performance reviews.
All templates necessary to introduce an effective and comprehensive performance appraisal system based on partnership and communication are included and there is even a case study to show how the process and forms work in practice. Forms are included in pdf format, with some in Word format to facilitate on-screen completion.
The toolkit also includes a generic set of behaviours and behaviour indicators for those organisations that don’t currently have their own set of behaviours or competencies.
This toolkit complements the TNA toolkit, also available from this site.

This brief provides a checklist for managers to follow and an action plan form that can be used to record and monitor actions agreed as a result of the training.
About
Within a few days of completing any formal training, participants should be de-briefed. This de-brief serves several important purposes: • It provides an opportunity to review the learning and thus aid retention. • It enables the individual and line manager to plan how they will ensure the learning is implemented in the workplace. • It enables the individual and line manager to review the training and prepare some initial feedback for the training provider. This brief provides a checklist for managers to follow and an action plan form that can be used to record and monitor actions agreed as a result of the training.

This is a lengthy pre-coaching questionnaire, provided for Trainers' Library members by Clare Forrest. It can be used to identify key priorities, and can even be adapted to enable the evaluation of coaching.
About
This is a lengthy pre-coaching questionnaire, provided for Trainers' Library members by Clare Forrest. It can be used to identify key priorities, and can even be adapted to enable the evaluation of coaching. Note: This checklist covers a broad spectrum of areas that a professional life coach might be able to help with. Inexperienced coaches will probably want to restrict the checklist so that it covers specific work related issues. When deciding what to leave in the checklist, we'd recommend that if in doubt, you leave it out.

This form provides a checklist for managers to follow and a form that can be used to record key points from the pre-training brief, including learning objectives.
About
All participants should be briefed before attending any formal training. This is important because it helps to establish expectations (both the line manager’s and the individual’s) and to clarify learning objectives. It really does help those providing the training if the individual has a clear idea of what they want to achieve from it. This form provides a checklist for managers to follow and a form that can be used to record key points from the pre-training brief, including learning objectives.

Sales Success – Targeting Toolkit – I have just used this with a new manager and the head of one of our offices and it was excellent. They found the training to be extremely helpful and it was very easy for me to take the principles of the toolkit and translate it into our business environment. I have been so impressed by this toolkit that I intend to suggest we use this going forward as a new method of measurement at our next quarterly management meeting in January – and the head of the office is backing me on this!
