In my previous job, I had a lot of dealings with the British Council who support links with China (mostly educational links but also, to a lesser extent, businesses who want to set up links out there). They have charity status so you could contact them and ask them either to visit or perhaps do a video conference (that's what I did) and they talked us through etiquette/things to avoid etc. The people I dealt with were Katie Blunden and Dominic Regester (email addresses:[email protected] [email protected]) If they are no longer there, ring General Enquiries on 0161 957 7755 and ask for the China desk. |
