I have just started using Articulate Storyline and just about to finish designing my first elearning course. It is a brilliant product and you don't need to be a technical genius. If you want i can send you a sample course that I designed. The interface mirrors that of PowerPoint so if you are a PowerPoint user you will immediately recognise the interface, but it has much more features than PowerPoint where e-learning design is concerned. Also the best thing about Storyline is the community behind it. Articulate has a website called Elearning heroes which provides training videos, sample course templates and other resources, ebooks and weekly challenges and the chance to engage with other elearning designers too. And everything on the site, i mean everything is totally free. Dialogue design, i assumme is Skillsofts design tool. We use skillsoft too but we opted not to use Dialoguie design but rather articulate. My email is [email protected] if you want to chat to me about Articulate storyline. |

Thank you. You are reinforcing positive things I've heard from others so thank you for that. |

We use Articulate Storyline. It's very easy to design basic training - if you can use PowerPoint you'll be fine with it. You can even design in PowerPoint and load it straight in to Storyline. To make your training more engaging and interactive does take more advanced skills and we got an external company in to deliver some training for us on that. They do a free 30 day trial so I would recommend signing up for that and seeing how you get on with it.

I'm using Articulate Storyline. Although i cannot rate this against Dialogue, Storyline is very easy to use. the biggest part is creating youre storyboards to ensure that you are clear on what you want to achieve, this saves time and headaches in the long run. |
