Abi - welcome to the site. Not sure if it is exactly what you are after, although I have recently used an exercise called Red/Blue with a group of managers. I used in a team context although it is does bring out communication and trust. You can Google it or mail me separately as I have a template that I used.
The managers I worked with chose not to meet at the first opportunity (Round 4 of 10) and it resulted in an interesting debrief. I asked if they had opportunities to discuss issues earlier within the work environment but chose to ignore the chance resulting in poorer performance and greater misunderstandings.
