I did the Level 5 Diploma in HRD through DPG and it was fantastic. I would highly recommend them. Vicky |

That's great advice Michael, I have not looked at the OU , have had details from DPG and also looking at TAP qualifications but will add that to the mix |

Hi Tracy I was looking for the same to send one of my newer Trainers on, however not many colleges run this kind of course any more (I myself did the CiTP about 7 years ago). However I found the Certificate in Learning & Development Level 3 diploma via the Open University. My Trainer is now half way through it, and she's really enjoying it. She has a designated mentor and has regular reviews of how her course is going. Plus they have an Assessor that comes along to the workplace to assess her presentation and training skills too. The cost was just over Ā£1300 which I think represents really good value for money. The course takes about one year to complete and to gain the formal qualification. Hope this helps, Michael. |

Thanks Sue, yes I have looked at colleges for this first but most are not running it because of lack of interest. I live in Nottinghamshire and my 5 local colleges don't run it |

Hi Tracy,
Many Further Education colleges run these qualifications through their Business Development Units or Management Suite of quals. have you thought about contacting one of them?
