Hi Nadia,
I second what Jane said. Create a lean learning strategy that highlights what are the three top learning priorities for your organisation and focus on them. Find out what the performance needs are first, then decide what you need to spend money. Nowadays there are lots of resources out there that you can design learning content from. What is more important is having a clear goal of where you need to expend your resources. |

Hi Nadia
The primary question for me is what are the business objectives this year and where are your capability gaps? If L&D is going to make a positive impact and be seen to be contributing to the organisation, there needs to be a link back to performance from whatever you invest in. It also will depend on what capability you have within your L&D function.
If this was for resources only this budget, I'd be interested to explore technology and how that might make a difference. eg in creating your own content, or getting people to share experiences, learning and tools online collaboratively.
