Time:
The exercise in this module can be completed in about 25 minutes. In total, allowing for discussion, we recommend allowing about 35 minutes for this module.

Aims:
• Highlights the role of body language in communication and identifies strategies for communicating more effectively over the phone.

Group Size:
This module can be used with groups of any size. Ideally, you'll have even numbers of participants for creating pairs.

Useful For:
Staff at all levels.

You'll Need:
• A blindfold for each participant.
• Two pre-prepared flipcharts with the headings Discussion Topic 1 and Discussion Topic 2.

Blindfolds can be purchased from Trainers' Market.

Notes:
The subjects used in the exercise are deliberately controversial so it is advisable that you do not pair people together who you believe may struggle to get along together.
