Hi! Thanks for looking at my page. I'm the Director of ORL Development & Coaching - the brand name for Open Road Learning Ltd which I set up in 2003. The team consists of a number of experienced, expert facilitators and coaches who love everything about learning. Our passion is about helping people to be the best they can be at work by giving them some useful tools and techniques. Our training is interactive, fun and engaging. We get great client feedback and as a result, we have a loyal group of regular clients that we've been working with for many years.
Expertise
We specialise in the design and deliver of Leadership, Management & Personal skills training for corporate clients. ORL is an approved centre for ILM programmes and we can offer qualifications at level 3 and level 5 in Leadership and Management.
The curriculum includes a range of leadership, management and personal skills programmes to support workplace performance.
We are also passionate about workplace well-being. Our Fit for Purpose programme focuses on stress management and resilience, providing a range of tools for organisations and individuals to use to support well-being and I am also able to deliver Mental Health First Aider training.
We also offer coaching, meeting facilitation and team building events to suit your specific business needs. This includes working with bid teams, joint venture teams and any other sort of team you like in order to maximise performance.
We like to work closely with our Clients to ensure we deliver practical training and development that will make a real difference to business performance. Understanding culture, values and specific aims and objectives, we like to ensure we have a similar cultural fit to bespoke our offering to your needs. We're a very friendly bunch and like to form long lasting, quality relationships.
Other areas include HR Training for Managers and our 5 * Customer Service Programme which is a bespoke programme tailored to the specific needs of your organisation.
Random things
I love animals. I'm a dog owner and volunteer with the Greyhound Trust, helping retired racing greyhounds find a comfy sofa for life. I've also just started playing golf, it's early days but I'm enjoying the challenge. Other interests include music and attending lots of gigs, and I'm a huge fan of Gary Barlow. And just in case you were wondering...yes, I did name my business after Gary's first solo album 'Open Road'!
